understanding your feminine cycle
*this is my personal story + experience, I am not a doctor. please talk to a healthcare professional if you are seeking medical advice.
after spending years on an estrogen based birth control pill to avoid pregnancy, and I can see now that most of my ‘mood disorder’ problems fall under hormone in-balance, which is pretty common in women. depression, anxiety, insomnia, mood swings, increased nervousness, and low energy were high on my list of things to figure out. a couple years ago I finally got the courage, ditched my birth control pills and learned all about how our bodies work. today you will learn the rhythms of the seasons to understand what kind of support your body needs as it creates, destroys, and releases each 28 days. by the end of this I hope you feel empowered + in love with your body. it’s time to learn to trust the rhythms of your body to guide you.
You can use essential oil blends like Progessence Plus and Dragon Time to naturally support your feminine cycle each month.

~ temperature lowers ~
Winter: the first day you bleed marks the start of your cycle. prioritize rest + gentle movement, be kind to yourself. eat warm foods + beverages, nourish your body as it works to release. great time to eat beef, bone broth, spices, ‘hardy’ foods, you are rebuilding nutrients as your body is releasing them.
Spring: follicular phase - your mood, energy, + creativity increase. eat lighter foods like salads and sandwiches. great time to enjoy challenging movement, take a long bike ride or walk for hours with a friend.
~ temperature rises ~
Summer: ovulation- your body wants to create life, your body temperature rises and you release an egg in hope of it being fertilized and implanted in your uterus. you can be more irritable and hot during this time, give grace and prioritize movement to release the energy that is building. nourishing smoothies, raw foods, + probiotics are great for this time in your cycle.
sperm can live inside your comfy uterus lining for 5 days. if you are trying to get pregnant make sure to have sex right before and during the days you ovulate (release an egg for fertilization). if you are not, make sure to use the pull out method, or non-penetrating sex for those days.
Fall: luteal phase - the longest phase of your cycle, 12-14 days. estrogen levels drops, progesterone stays high. during the last week of your cycle you may become more irritable, short tempered, and moody. when you notice you are pissed at everything for no reason, grab some dragon time to roll on your wrists. I use Progessence Plus nightly to support a balanced mood during this phase.

this one helped me balance my cycle like nothing I’ve ever seen. pro+ helped me balance my cycle within a few months of ditching birth control and learning to support female hormones naturally. my cycle is now rhythmic and regular. I know when I will ovulate, and when I will bleed, I follow the moon and flow with the seasons. feeling very grateful to simply write that, it has been a long journey of fear, shame, and mistrust with my body and this beautiful life creating cycle.
pro+ is ahhhmazing for supporting your emotions + mood every day of your cycle. How do I know? Because on days I forgot to use it I notice and everyone around me does too. I can be a real moody bitch sometimes.
Progessence Plus promotes feelings of relaxation, harmony, + balance. made with natural progesterone from wild yams and essential oils like Frankincense, Bergamot, + Peppermint.
your PMS bestie - roll over your ankles and abdomen for feelings of grounding + calm before and during your bleed. a game changer for emotional and physical support during that time. I pretty much bathe in this blend for a week every month just to keep sane.
Dragon Time promotes stability + calm - a blend of Clary Sage, Fennel, Lavender, Jasmine, Marjoram, + Yarrow
healthy thyroid function, hormones, metabolism, and adrenals are so important for your energy levels + emotions, you can dilute in a roller and roll over thyroid a couple times a day.
Endoflex is a blend of Spearmint, Sage, Geranium, German Chamomile, and Nutmeg.
bonus tip - make a “big emotions” roller for your kiddos ( or self) with Enodflex, Grounding, + Sacred Mountain.
