Reading Your Birth Chart
Astrology is a language for empathy. Learning to understand the archetypes, elements, language, and patterns of astrology is a unique gift to help you understand + empathize with yourself + the people you interact with.
Humans have studied the stars, the skies, and the seasons since the beginning of time. There is an energetic difference between summer, autumn winter, + spring - the flow of our seasons.
so, how did we get the 12 zodiac signs and the yearly calendar?
Trace the sun from summer equinox to winter equinox, where it changes directions. Draw a line from point to point then a half circle, divide into 6 equal sections of 30 degrees, then reflect to get a full circle - representing both sides of our year journey around the sun.

Conjunction - when 2 (or more) planets are in the same sign, close to each other in degree. their energies blend, amplifies each other’s themes
Square - 90 degrees (3 signs) apart, most difficult, challenging, or uncomfortable. the energies clash because they are opposing elements (water + air / fire + earth), and they will be under the same modality (cardinal, fixed, or mutable).
Opposition - planets are 180 degrees apart (sitting directly opposite each other in the chart). creates a balancing act between extremes. less powerful than a square.
Sextile - 60 degrees (2 signs) apart, complimentary energies, considered favorable (water + earth / fire + air)
Trine - 120 degrees (4 signs) apart, complimentary, same element, better than sextiles.
